Our Phalaenopsis in the spotlight at Floraliën Ghent

 From May 1 through May 10, 2026, Labeau participated in Floraliën Ghent, the international flower and plant festival that takes place only once every four years and attracts thousands of visitors from home and abroad. For ten days, Ghent was entirely focused on floral connection, innovation, and inspiration.

Our stand brought our Phalaenopsis varieties to life in a colorful and inspiring way. Visitors were introduced to the quality, diversity, and beauty of our orchids in an atmospheric setting where flowers and the visitor experience took center stage.

The theme of “connection” served as the central thread throughout the design. Visitors could stroll beneath colorful arches of Phalaenopsis, while a swing adorned with orchids provided a striking decorative element and a unique photo opportunity. In this way, the connection between people, nature, and innovation became tangibly visible.

A special highlight was the royal opening of Floraliën, during which the King and Queen of Belgium officially opened the event. Their presence emphasised the importance of the Belgian floriculture sector and gave this edition an extra festive atmosphere.

After Floraliën concluded, our plants found a wonderful new home. The Phalaenopsis plants on display were sold to benefit various charities. In this way, our participation continued to make a positive contribution even after the event.

We look back with great pride on our participation in Floraliën Gent 2026. This edition was a wonderful opportunity to share our passion for orchids, innovation, and sustainable floriculture with visitors from around the world.
