Practical tips before the game starts

How it works
1. Scan the music cards
Draw the top card from the deck and scan the QR code using the QR-song app.
(Spotify Free works, everyone can join in!)
The song starts playing instantly.
2. Place the card in your timeline
Listen, feel, and decide:
Is this song older? Younger? Does it belong between two songs you’ve already placed?
Trust your instincts and your musical memory and place the card in the timeline.
3. Reveal the release year
Flip the card over and check the year:
• Correct placement: You keep the card proudly in your timeline.
• Incorrect placement: The card goes to the discard pile. No worries, the game keeps moving!

4. Pass the turn
The next player gets ready to make their move.
5. Win the game
You or your team are the winners of the game when you have a timeline of 10 cards!

The use of the tokens
1. During your turn
- Earn a token
When it is your turn, you can earn 1 Labeau token if you know the correct title of the song and the name of the artist.
You can even earn a token if you place that card incorrectly on your timeline.
No player may have more than 5 tokens during the game.
- Pay a token
Don't know the song? Pay 1 Labeau token and scan the next card for a new song. Put the token and the card in the box.
2. During your opponent's turn
Think a player placed a card incorrectly?
Call “HIT!” before they flip the card.
Place one of your tokens on their timeline where you think the card belongs.
• If you’re right: you steal the card and place it correctly in your own timeline.
• If you’re wrong: nothing happens.
Return all used tokens to the box.
3. Whenever you want
Exchange 3 Labeau tokens for the top music card from the deck and place it on your timeline, without having to guess the release date.
